Miranda July

Miranda July has a brilliant website up promoting her new fiction collection.

She is the filmmaker of "You and Me and Everyone We Know," and she's brilliant and daring and brave. In other words, she's an artist. I wouldn't mind hanging out with Ms. July, even just once over a cup of coffee.

Dude, some people make me want to give up. I'll never be that clever and witty. I want that book.

LOL. I know what you mean about people who make you want to give up, but I try to take those moments of amazement at someone else's creativity and use them as reminders that there are no boundaries other than what we allow ourselves to see.

She's a cool lady. Check out her movie, You and Me and Everyone We Know. It's weird and quirky and very outside the box.
