Hard work + Luck vs. God Given Talent

If you are in a fragile state of mind concerning your art, as I am, you may want to avoid watching this video.

I should have expected someone with an art history degree to put this into some sort of context. Now I have to go look up Mr. Dent.

Every time the real painting is being done, you never see a wide shot with the boy. The few times you see a wide shot with the boy painting, it seems much clumsier and random than the other shots.

I know, I'm a friggin' killjoy.
